The thought of turning 20 someday sends chills down my spine.We lived all those teen years with such frivolous attitude,the alacrity to go out with friends in the dead of the night, to chill out at the cafe by the corner,to hangout wid friends,spend long hours chatting with them on the cell “ha re aur bol”......”so whats up”...and some variation of it.”so whats new”......not bothering about the days to come...well that was in general.
Being a teen all our mistakes our condoned.I remember the time when my uncle was teaching me howta drive a car,it was just the 2nd day and instead of the break i accidently pressed the accelerator, and rammed his car in our building lobby...a old lady sitting there ran for her life...at the same instant 2 ppl came frm the elevator...and 2 frm every direction surrounding me,yeah i had screwed up big time but thanks to my uncle sitting right beside me saying,”chill satej ...no problem at all”.till date my dad is unaware about this incident, but the whole society knows it,these aunties need some gossip after all.
This age is such that others tend to sympathise with you.Our parents have extra deference for our desires ,yeah no doubt they do always but considering our age they become complaisant.My 18th bday was so dull,had a few calls from close friends,and then 2days later i had my 1st sem exam.But the 19th one was too cool....it dawned upon me that is was my last teen year....the celebration was awesome..did we enjoy!! Every one was so ebullient..i’ll remember it forever..since then it has been a joyride
